 Showing BIODERMA H2O Sébium Micellaire (Cleansing Solution).
I had read a lot about BIODERMA and how wonderful it was, so of course I had to try it for myself. I ordered this online, I wish I remembered where from, but I can't. (This is why I'm writing a blog, so I can remember all the products I've tried and what I felt about each one). When my Bioderma arrived, I realised I had ordered the "Teen" one for combination to Oily skin, presumably because at the time, thanks to yet again another hormonal episode, my skin had flared up. So this review is just for this particular one, not for any of the others available. For a lower priced Micellaire/Cleansing solution, it did a solid job of removing my makeup. A little bit goes a long way. I applied mine to a cotton wool pad and with a couple of gentle wipes, was able to remove my light daily makeup. The first few times stung my eyes, however after a few days, I either got used to it or finally wised up to the fact that too much was not only unnecessary but also aggravating to my eyes. (you get smart eventually!). Overall I would agree this is a good all round first step, makeup remover. Even on days where I wore heavier makeup (primarily around the eyes), this was able to do a great job. My only dislike was the strong floral smell (that felt a little "fake" and chemical for my liking), plus the fact that this does not meet my Natural/Non-Toxic requirements, means that I will likely continue my search for the perfect "Healthy" Makeup remover.
