 aqua foundation (new formula)!Type Of Skin: Normal Skin, Dry Skin, Combination Skin What It Claims: Aqua Foundation’s long-wearing, featherweight formula includes Koh Gen Do’s new Gloss Film Powder, which helps it fit onto skin and softly brighten areas of dullness. Now with increased coverage, sweat-resistance, and oil-resistance, this formulation’s light-diffusing minerals and weightless base hydrates skin for a flawless complexion and youthful glow that lasts all day. What it is: A high-definition, long-wearing mineral foundation with a natural, luminous finish. What it is formulated WITHOUT: - Parabens - Sulfates - Phthalates My Verdict: With the New Formula comes a new bottle, and I must say the pump is better than the old one and I quite like the longer bottle too, even though the amount is exactly the same as it was before. The ORIGINAL formula used to be extremely light, which was one of the selling points for me, however with the light texture also came the very light coverage, which on good skin days was perfect for me, however for breakout days, it did not provide enough coverage, so a good amount of concealer was always needed. However, I always loved the "dewy" finish it left, it didn't feel cakey, sticky, thick or irritating. The NEW Formula is quite different, though still light, it definitely provides a more solid coverage, with less need for Concealer, however the finish sinks into the lines, creases and scars quite noticeably. Less than a lot of other foundations so it is still more to my liking, however, I don't like the "powdery" finish is now leaves. I'm still trying to decide if I prefer the Manifashi Moisture Foundation or the Manifashi Aqua Foundation. I'll get back to this once I have made a decision. I will need to alternate between the two foundations Koh Gen Do has to offer as I still cannot make up my mind! *Note: I use Colour 013. If you do not know your colour, I suggest going to your closest stockist to get samples to try on clean skin (it's never the same if you try it in-store). If you do not have a stockist close by, Koh Gen Do's website also sells samples for you to calmly try at home.
