CASTILIAN WINTER SOUP / SOPA DE PICADILLO
Ingredients: 200 ml of Water ½ Roasted Chicken 2 Carrots 1 Leek 2 Ham Bones (with some Ham on it) 1 or 2 Short Ribs 2 Bay Leaves 1 Clove of Garlic Salt & Pepper (to taste) Then add the following toppings: Chopped Boiled Egg Some Spanish Jamón of Jabugo Manchego Cheese Angel Hair Pasta HOW TO COOK: Add all the soup ingredients together and leave to cook for 3-4 hours for a strong flavour. Then boil the pasta if you wish to add it, you can also make it with rice. Cook as per the instructions on the package and then add to the strained broth. Add whatever toppings (of those listed). | Ingredientes: 200 ml de Agua ½ Pollo Asado 2 Zanahorias 1 Puerro 2 Huesos de Jamón (de Jabugo) 1 o 2 Costillejas 2 hojas de Laurel 1 diente de Ajo Sal y Pimienta (a tu gusto) Sirve la Sopa con los siguientes aderezos: Huevos Cocidos troceados Jamón de Jabugo Queso Manchego Pasta fina tipo Fideo PREPARACIÓN: Agregue todos los ingredientes de la sopa y dejelos cocinar durante unas 3-4 horas para obtener el mejor sabor. Another day rushing around, another quick salad. This time a Kale Mélange, full of goodness and nutrition. I can't stress how important it is, to remain somewhat healthy in the fast paced world we live in. Time limitations should not jeopardise food quality. With these easy recipes you won't have to compromise that.
INGREDIENTS:
3 Handfuls of Kale Lettuce (Trader Joes Organic Kale bag)
10 Cherry tomatoes (cut in half)
Red Onion finely cut(as much as you like)
1 Small Avocado
1 Green Apple (for some sweetness and crunch)
Dressing:
Olive Oil
½ Lemon (juice)
Squirt of Honey
Salt & Pepper
How to make it:
Place Kale, chopped apples and tomatoes in a bowl, scoop avocado and add to salad, finally pour dressing and thoroughly mix. No one wants underdressed lettuce, especially Kale which can lean on the bitter side. Let it sit for 1 minute before you enjoy. Now dive in!
